The connection between Alan and Andy is almost scary at times. Perhaps he is Alan's long lost son, or even Fernando Partridge? Andy is currently 23 years old (in the year 2004), so does this make him old enough to be Fernando Partridge?...

Andy Hodgson has presented on BBC Radio Five, BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Radio York, BBC North, Century Radio, LBC, Star FM and The Eagle to name but a few! His radio background has covered everything from commentary on Prince Edwards wedding to the Egton Gooseberry Festival. He has also been seen presenting on Sky Sports News and Ford TV commercials.
 Andy also helped launch an internet radio station for The Guardian Media Group before "bidding-up" to become one of our multi-talented auctioneers in 2000.
As bid-up.tv's most experienced auctioneer he's auctioned everything from signed football shirts to cars and even a chance to have your chest hair waxed by Danni Minogue..

 During Andy's live auctions, he is helped by his assistant Jenny 'Jenoir' Harrison, of the 'French Valleys'. She is a former ice-cream seller and has a degree in Geography from Durham University.
But don't be fooled by this. Jenny previously worked at Sky Sports, mixing with the likes of George Best, Lennox Lewis and Rodney Marsh to name but a few. Her favourite TV shows are Alan Partridge and Dream Team, she loves to cook and she's a Pisces. Nice one Jenny! |
