Linton Travel Tavern - actually a Hilton Hotel in Watford. It's just off the M1 Junction 5, on the A41 south.

A visit by Tim Venn:
"Having nothing better to do last Sunday, my son Daniel and I embarked upon a 150 mile round trip to visit a couple of them.
We found the Watford Hilton (Travel Tavern) easily enough (see pics below). We also went "round the back" of the hotel.
The hotel was only used for the exterior shots, and the reception bears no resemblance to the Travel Tavern.

Then, as if we hadn't had enough excitement for the day, it was on to Staines Road East to the BP filling station where Michael used to work (series 2 of I'm Alan Partridge). For anyone saaaad enough to want to go there, it is located right outside Kempton Park racecourse, and is not to be confused with a BP petrol station in Staines Road West as we did. The building has changed, but from the position of the lights and pumps is definitely the one used. Again, it was only used for the exterior shots, the inside bears no resemblance to the series, which is a pity, as I intended to try and heat an apple pie in the microwave to see if I could get it hotter than the sun. We are already planning our next trip to Choristers..."
